FACILITIES

The surgery was originally built in the 1960s with substantial extensions being added in the late 1970s and early 1980s. All our consulting rooms are located on the ground floor and there is a ramp at the main entrance for disabled access. In addition there is an intercom at the main door which may be used to call for any assistance required to open external doors. There are internal fire doors to open so please let reception know if any assistance is needed or if there are any other special needs you may have.

We have a portable induction loop at reception for use by those patients with hearing aids. Please let the receptionist know if this is required.

We have a one way entry and exit system to the surgery from Finchampstead Road. For the safety of both drivers and pedestrians please adhere to this system at all times. There is a large car park for patients at the front of the surgery by the main entrance, with disabled spaces nearest to the front door. Please do not park in the spaces along the side of the surgery as these are reserved for the doctors and staff; do not be offended if you are asked to move your vehicle from these spaces. The practice accepts no responsibility for any theft of or damage to any vehicle or its contents, caused whilst on site at the surgery. If you are visiting the adjacent Finchampstead Clinic you must park in the spaces provided outside the clinic and not at the surgery. The Finchampstead Surgery is private property and any vehicle left in the surgery car park, without prior permission, for an extended period of time, or when the surgery is closed, will be removed by private contractors.
